Words to Live By was founded by Motivation & Creativity Coach Denise J. Hart, MFA. Denise, a 5 year breast cancer survivor, founded WTLB after her mother lost her life to the same breast cancer Denise had survived just one year earlier. Moved to create something that reflects her mother’s zest for life, and Denise’s deep belief in positive thinking, Words to Live By was born.

Among the many hats she wears, Denise is a tenured College Theatre Professor, a Life Coach specializing in Motivation, Creativity, and Success Strategies. She’s also an Actress (see her work on HBO’s drama THE WIRE), an award winning Playwright, Acting Coach, & Founder/Director of The Children’s Theatre Workshop, Inc. Through Words to Live By she provides coaching, workshops, and creates products that help women to live life with the kind of gusto that results in manifesting their dreams and lving the lives they truly desire..

Denise is the face behind the popular blog, Solutions from The Motivation Mama! where she blogs about positively real solutions, tips and insights to help women maintain their motivation no matter what’s going on! And the blog Tips for Business Blogging Success providing tips for the newbie business blogger.

She’s also the mother of one now-very-tall-17 year old son and she’s been a student of personal development for over 25 years. She’s trained at CoachVille, Alex Mandossian’s teleseminars, Group Mastery with Wendy Y. Bailey, & is a featured expert blogger at PeopleJam.com, Selfgrowth.com and a member of Teleseminar Nation.

Hart is a graduate of the Sarah Lawrence College MFA program and she acknowledges that the schools unofficial philosophy (the Sarah Lawrence Way!) has significantly shaped her “Anything is possible attitude!” For 14 years she’s lived this philosophy by changing the lives of young people through her performing arts camp, The Children’s Theatre Workshop, Inc. “Many of the parents say the positive impact the camp has on their child far exceeds any camp they’ve ever attended. “Well, my mission was simple, to create a place where courage and creativity would go hand in hand!” says Hart.
